FACTS & FIGURES!!

Facts & Figures!! Techno Craze!!

Dear Friends, I feel you guys would eager to know "How an Electric Vehicle is Powered by Household Socket".

This is known to many of you that charging an electric vehicle would require a battery, charger and would also depend on the voltage being used.

Of my experiences and practicals, I would mention 4 kinds of charging options that are used nowadays and present Auto companies are developing as a future of mobility based on this.

Option 1: AC charging, this uses a standard 120 volt with a socket outlet with a max current of 24 amps. This would take 8-12 hrs to charge a battery and hence the vehicle.

Option 2: This being an alternate of AC charging, uses a standard 240 volt household socket outlet with a max current of 32 amps. This takes 3-6 hrs to charge a vehicle.

Option 3: This calls for charging with DC current, plug into 440 volt with a maximum continuous current of 400 amps. Charging time is 30 mins to 1.5 hrs.

Option 4: Inductive energy wireless charger, park and charge. In this case no cords are required.

Unfeigned Regards,
Annada
